Maven is a deterministic measurement engine for the live web. We turn any URL into a structured, factual profile — the way the page actually behaves right now, not a curated rating or an editorial opinion.

The internet has become noisy. Legacy search engines optimize for ads, global brands, and engagement metrics—leaving local businesses, community resources, and independent creators buried. Maven was founded to change that equation: a measurement layer built on local business, community discovery, and transparent web analysis.

Our Approach

We combine our own analysis pipeline with a community-powered URL submission model. Anyone can submit a URL through our search field. We evaluate that URL—its content quality, technical health, local relevance, and trustworthiness—and produce a structured factual record of what we find.

Submission does not guarantee inclusion. We maintain editorial discretion over what enters our index and our SEO reports and data sets. A curated, high-signal index is worth more than an exhaustive, low-quality one.

The Maven Profile Standard

We publish the Maven Profile Standard (MPS)— an open, versioned, XML-formatted Source-of-Truth payload that AI agents and search engines can ingest directly. Every analyzed page carries an MPS block: a machine-readable record of what Maven measured, structured for the next generation of discovery.
